Working on campus wide delivery, we are constructing the shell and core for six individual 2-storey data centre units offering 30MW+, with twelve 750 kW rooms, twelve energy centres and twelve HV back-up generator solutions along with a rainwater treatment facility.

We have carried out the demolition of existing offices and constructed the main security gatehouse and road networks using existing material from a removed car park as backfill, saving the client valuable resources.

Due to the proximity of the campus to a live business airport, we worked closely with Air Traffic control on appropriate timings for usage of equipment, such as cranes, adjusting our programme accordingly.

The sand-based ground conditions have provided a number of challenges which have requiered us to design drainage solutions accordingly for water discharge and retention rates in order to align with Environment Agency requirements. We have designed and installed ponds and rainwater pump filters so that water is harvested and used for data centre water cooling.

This project has received one BREEAM Excellent and two BREAAM Very Good across the projects.
