We are delighted to have been appointed by our client, leading regeneration expert Generator South West, on the major redevelopment of the former Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate Factory at Greenbank in Bristol.

The mixed-use redevelopment will see 140 new homes comprising 96 apartments and 44 houses together with c.16,000 sq ft of flexible workspace, café/bar and a community hub. In addition, the original office building will be retained and a landscaped public open space for the benefit of new and existing residents has been incorporated into the design, along with an enhanced access to the Bristol and Bath Railway Path.

We at Sweet Construct are experienced at, and sensitive to, working in live environments, where minimal disruption is key, such as specialist schools and medical centres, as well as within live, high-security environments. We are currently working on several high-value technical industrial campuses for a leading data centre provider, in addition to working at WWT Slimbridge, where welfare of the wildfowl and the visiting public is paramount, especially during the construction process.

Together with Generator South West, we shall continue to liaise with the local community as work on site progresses through to completion of the project. We are confident that everybody in the area will be able to enjoy and benefit from the redeveloped site in due course.
