We are appointed as the main contractor for the major redevelopment of the former Elizabeth Shaw Chocolate Factory; a £28m mixed-use redevelopment located in a highly sensitive and built up residential area close to Bristol city centre.

The scheme comprises of three historic Victorian factory and office buildings which been retained for conversion into 96 apartments, alongside 44 new build houses, c.16,000 sq ft of flexible workspace, a café/bar and community hub, landscaped public open spaces and enhanced access to the Bristol and Bath Railway Path.

We commenced on site in late 2019, self-delivering groundworks across the nearly 4.5 acre site. Further works such as excavations, removal and renewal of the roof structures, reduced level digs and structural repairs are also well underway with the first show apartment and marketing suite scheduled for completion in the Spring.
